What it is

The SAP-branded OEM version of the ASAPIO Integration Add-on.

SAP NetWeaver Event-Enablement Add-on is the SAP-branded OEM version of ASAPIO's Integration Add-on, delivered exclusively with a Connector to SAP Event Mesh. It enables real-time integration of SAP business data with the SAP Event Mesh service on SAP Business Technology Platform.

The add-on is included in the subscription of SAP Event Mesh on SAP BTP – there is no separate license required for existing SAP Event Mesh subscribers.

Note for SAP Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh customers: A separate license for the ASAPIO Connector for Solace / SAP Advanced Event Mesh is required. Learn more →

How it works

Outbound & inbound connectivity

The add-on provides bidirectional connectivity between your SAP system and SAP Event Mesh on BTP.

Outbound

Push channel based on HTTP(S) POST. SAP business events are published from SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA directly to the SAP Event Mesh topic of your choice – code-less, configurable in the ASAPIO Integration Add-on designer.

Inbound

Secure inbound message delivery via SAP Cloud Connector. Messages from Event Mesh are consumed and processed by the SAP system through the established Cloud Connector tunnel – no open inbound ports required.
