SAP plans to release an event enablement add-on to the SAP NetWeaver technology platform for S/4HANA customers. This add-on, initially introduced in 2020 for previous SAP ERP releases, can now expand the application’s scope and support SAP S/4HANA moving forward. It is designed to enable SAP customers to more easily define their own events required to implement event-driven architecture for multiple generations of SAP ERP applications with the same technology.
