Installation & Setup
ASAPIO Integration Add-on is installed as ABAP add-on packages using SAP standard mechanisms.
Supported SAP Systems
- SAP ECC 6.0 Enhancement Package 6 and newer
- SAP S/4HANA 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025
- SAP S/4HANA RISE with SAP Private Cloud
- Other SAP NetWeaver-based systems (for example SAP HCM, SRM, MDG)

Note: Framework package itself does not require SAP Business Function activation. Some connector scenarios (for example Fieldglass) may require additional SAP-specific prerequisites.

Installation Using Transport Files

- Upload transport files (for example with transaction /nCG3Z).
- Place
R*file in/usr/sap/trans/data/. - Place
K*file in/usr/sap/trans/cofiles/. - Use SE09/STMS to import in correct order.
Installation Using PAT Files
- Use transaction /nSAINT.
- Load package from application server and follow SAP add-on procedure.
Roles and Authorizations
ASAPIO Integration Add-on requires specific authorization roles for different user types. For detailed information on the standard roles and authorization objects, please refer to the Roles and Authorizations guide.
Uninstallation
Preparations
- Backup ASAPIO customizing first (see Configuration Transport).
- Unschedule jobs that execute
/ASADEV/*programs (transaction SM36).
Deletion Procedure
If component ASANWEE/ASAAEMEE is installed:
- Import deletion transports for additional connectors first.
- Uninstall framework component in SAINT.
If ASANWEE/ASAAEMEE is not installed:
- Import the deletion transport for your installation scope.
Verify cleanup via SE16 table TADIR and filter DEVCLASS = /ASADEV/*.
