23 years of growth in expertise, customers and portfolio
Our journey began in 2003 when founders Ralph and Lothar established META-1 with a vision to create a specialist SAP consulting company, in areas like SAP PLM and SAP SRM. This company became ASAPIO soon after, and grew its business over various consulting projects.
A pivotal moment came in 2007 when Peter joined the leadership team, helping to steer the company from pure consulting toward the product-led innovation that defines us today.
Over two decades, we have evolved into a premier SAP OEM partner, bridging the gap between ERP and the cloud with pioneering integration solutions.
2024, the founders set the course for the future by handing business operation over to the management team — Christian Heitmann, Florian Farr and Miro Moravek — moving into an Advisory Board to ASAPIO
2003
Founded as META-1
Establishing a specialist consulting business for SAP PLM, SAP SRM and procurement solutions. Later renamed to ASAPIO.
2006
Procurement focus!
ASAPIO deeply focusses on SAP procurement solutions, inventing ASAPIO CVI to help SAP MDM Catalog customers in managing their data.
2012
SAP Ariba Integration
First solution for SAP Ariba integration with SAP ERP, the foundation for our successful product line.
2016
SAP Fieldglass Integration Add-on
Together with SAP and pilot customers, the first productized solution for process Integration of SAP Fieldglass with ERP systems is born.
2019
Event-driven Integration
Moving from MTZ to Landsberger Strasse. Partnership with Solace and release of first connectors to Event brokers.
2020
Official SAP OEM Software Partner
SAP chooses ASAPIO as the OEM partner for the SAP Fieldglass and Event Mesh integration Add-ons.

We intensified Partnerships with Solace, Microsoft, AWS, and SAP around the globe.

ASAPIO became OEM partner of SAP for Advanced Event Mesh integration, which is the leading event broker on SAP BTP.
Founders
Ralph Altmeier
Prior to founding ASAPIO, Ralph worked for SAP Germany as a consultant and consultant manager in the areas of internet-based solutions for industry marketplaces and automotive customers, for high-performance solutions in logistics and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) from 1997-2002. After completing his studies in Business Information Systems, Ralph worked as a software developer and consultant for special logistics solutions in the automotive industry at debis Systemhaus from 1992-1997.
Peter Holtkamp
Prior to joining ASAPIO, Peter was co-founder and managing partner of Consserve GmbH from 2001 to 2006, responsible for technical SAP consulting in the area of workflow, ALE and EDI and application consulting for SAP purchasing solutions. After completing his studies in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, Peter worked as a consultant for SAP Walldorf in the Automotive Industries and SAP Labs divisions of Palo Alto USA in the High Tech Industries division from 1997 to 2001.
Lothar Steinrücken
Prior to founding ASAPIO, Lothar was with SAP Germany from 1999 to 2002 as a Senior Consultant and Solution Architect in the areas of SAP Product Lifecycle Management and SAP Purchasing Solutions in various international and SAP internal projects. He completed his studies in mathematics and business administration at the Universities of Münster and Madrid.
