YOUR PROFILE 

The SAP Sourcing & Procurement Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end procurement solutions across the Source-to-Pay process. The role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable SAP architectures, defining target operating models, and guiding implementation projects from initial concept to go-live and beyond. 

The architect operates at the intersection of business stakeholders, IT, and external partners, ensuring solutions that combine SAP standard capabilities with the ASAPIO Integration Add-on and related products where complex integration or process scenarios require it. The role acts as a trusted advisor to clients, leads workshops and decision-making processes, and contributes to pre-sales and solution positioning across procurement transformation programs. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Solution Design & Consulting 

  • Design end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes 
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions 
  • Define target operating models and solution architectures in procurement landscapes 
  • Advise clients on best practices and SAP standard capabilities 

Project & Customer Ownership 

  • Take ownership of customer engagements and project workstreams 
  • Act as primary contact for business stakeholders 
  • Ensure high-quality delivery across all project phases 
  • Support pre-sales activities and solution positioning 

Workshops & Stakeholder Management 

  • Lead customer workshops (requirements gathering, design, fit-to-standard) 
  • Facilitate decision-making processes 
  • Align business, IT, and external partners 
  • Communicate complex topics in a clear and structured way 

Product & Architecture Positioning 

  • Identify where the ASAPIO Integration Add-on fits within client landscapes 
  • Position the product as part of holistic Source-to-Pay architectures alongside SAP standard solutions 
  • Support pre-sales and demos of the Integration Add-on with credibility from the consulting side 
  • Provide field insights to the product team to influence the product roadmap

  • Familiarity with the ASAPIO Integration Add-on or comparable SAP integration products
