This month’s update focuses on enhancing ASAPIO Data Studio, refining user experience, and introducing new messaging capabilities based directly on your feedback.
Innovations for ASAPIO Data Studio:
New deployment option: S/4HANA Server
In addition to the existing deployment options, you are now able to directly deploy into an SAP S/4HANA server using a transport requests for installation.
Updated Data Catalog
Easily browse and deploy from the Data Catalog – supports both customer-defined data objects (“ASAPIO Payloads”) and pre-defined standard objects.

Create interfaces in minutes
Deploy data objects to your target connection with just a few clicks. Currently we support ASAPIO Payloads for automated interface configuration.
Classic tables, CDS views and CDS view entities are planned to be supported in a future update.
RAP event support
Leverage a wide range of standard RAP events as triggers for messages with your custom payloads.
Transport configuration
Add interface definitions to transport requests.

General features

AsyncAPI export
Export your interface definitions in AsyncAPI JSON format.
Two options:
- Copy or Download the AsyncAPI definition of an individual interface from the Interface Details view in ASAPIO Data Studio
- Or use a new SAP transaction/program to generate the AsyncAPI JSON file for single or multiple interfaces
Message Id feature
Assigns a unique identifier to each message — ideal for implementing message de-duplication on the consumer side, and also serving to improved end-to-end monitoring for individual messages
Applies to: All interfaces using the ASAPIO Standard Formatter
Message attribute feature
Enhance message metadata with custom attributes, enabling dynamic routing based on actual payload content.
Now available for: Connector for AWS SNS, Connector for Google Cloud

Innovations for Microsoft integration
ADLS Gen 2 Support
Support for Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), enabling direct connectivity.
