Recommendations for best performance of mass data transfers

– Single event / real-time performance
o The additional workload through the overhead of ASAPIO Integration Add-on in a single event for message generation is almost negligible.
o Important: Triggers from SAP batch processes like MRP run, mass updates etc. should not be transferred in single events, but rather in batch or packed load (see Set-up packed load) mode to avoid unnecessary load on the SAP server and the target service.

– Batch-driven or Packed-Load (= sending via multi-threading over SAP server groups)
o Multiple SAP work processes can be used across servers (configuration via server groups).
o ACI then splits the events into a batch-run on the work processes.
